The concerning rise of substance and alcohol abuse among the youth in Kafue District has raised significant concerns among community members. They fear the negative consequences such as academic decline, behavioral issues, teenage pregnancies, HIV and AIDS, and compromised futures. Allegations of drug dealers targeting school-going children and using them as intermediaries to sell drugs within schools have further fueled these concerns.

To address this pressing issue, it is crucial for the community to come together and implement preventative measures.

Therefore, it is our job to work together with the community to help ensure that our children and youth are given opportunities to participate in healthy recreational activities. Below are solutions that we intend on implementing to help curb the problems our community is currently facing.
